"Women are paving the way in the social world. Research in America has proven that a higher percentage of women are on social than men. It’s also proved that we’re more open to sharing personal information about our lives, because (perhaps in an almost voyeuristic sense) we just love to see what everyone else is up to. We really do care that Sarah down the street just changed jobs (although we draw the line at the 3rd Candy Crush notification, obviously.) Perhaps this intrinsic ‘caring for sharing’ is what’s causing a surge in women thriving in social media marketing."
